Rick Ross officially has his own day in Miami.

On Friday, December 5, the MMG boss hosted his first-ever Holiday Brands Showcase at his private hangar in Opa-locka. All of the brands within his business empire were represented, from his latest bag collaboration with Edition 22 to the Slippery Soap to wash the lavish cars from the Rick Ross Car Show. Rozay invited a slew of special guests to the event, including Memphis Bleek, DJ Clue and O.T. Genasis. The guest list also included Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, Councilman Reggie A. Leon, Representative Ashley Gantt of Opa-locka and Mayor John H. Taylor, Jr., who designated December 5 as Rick Ross Day.

"First and foremost, I want to thank my city. Thank you all for coming out," Ross said during his acceptance speech. "What tonight is all about is making sure we understand we all partners. We coming into the new year. Let's take it to the next level."

This is just the latest honor Rick Ross has received from his community. Earlier this year, the Miami native, who has his Promise Land ranch in Georgia, was presented with a congressional proclamation from Congresswoman Nikema Williams during a press event in Atlanta. The proclamation recognized Rozay's contributions to the music industry, his various business ventures, and his philanthropic efforts in the Peach State. She also revealed Ross' plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, Port of Miami.

"In 2026, [Rick Ross] will celebrate Port of Miami's 20th anniversary with a nationwide symphonic tour, cementing his legacy in American music," Congresswoman Williams wrote.
