An alleged copy of the non-disclosure agreement Diddy had some people sign has surfaced on the Internet.
According to a report TMZ published on Friday, November 1, Sean "Diddy" Combs had attendees of his studio sessions sign an NDA that prevents people from revealing anything about him, his family, business associates and the event in question. The document, which you can read here, is a standard agreement that essentially bars guests from speaking about their experiences. However, some details from the document sparked discussions among critics like the length of the agreement.
"The term of this Agreement and duty to keep all information confidential and not use Prohibited Material shall commence on the first date above and continue for the life of Artist plus twenty (20) years or seventy (70) years, whichever is longer," the document reads.
Guests were allegedly forbidden from documenting the studio sessions with audio, video or photography without written consent from Combs. They couldn't post any photos from the sessions to specific social media websites without his approval. They were also barred from giving any interviews or revealing details about the sessions. Guests were allegedly forced to agree to these terms to gain entry into his studio.
The NDA agreement surfaced after Combs' team filed a motion for a gag order. They argue that it'll be impossible for their client to get a fair trial if potential witnesses like Courtney Burgess continue to give interviews about the case. Burgess recently testified to the grand jury about video evidence he claimed to have seen on flash drives. He also claimed he had an alleged manuscript of Kim Porter's actual book.
Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. He pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial at a jail in New York City. He celebrated his first birthday behind bars on Monday. His kids got together to wish him a happy birthday in a joint Instagram post. Check out their video below.
Editor's note: An earlier version of this story said the non-disclosure agreement was for guests attending Combs' alleged "freak-off" parties. This is not the case. The NDA was only for Combs' studio session.
