Xzibit is plotting a major comeback with the help of MMA fighter Conor McGregor.

On Tuesday, October 1, the veteran MC took to Instagram to announce his upcoming track "Play This At My Funeral" in a collaborative post with McGregor's label Greenback Records. The track is set to arrive on October 11 followed by his next single "Been A Long Time Pt. 2." Both songs are expected to appear on Xzibit's eighth studio album Kingmaker coming soon. The West Coast artist and the former "Pimp My Ride" host announced his plan to release the album via Greenback Records a couple of weeks ago.

"In the kingdom of hip-hop, only the real ones reign supreme," Greenback Records wrote in a joint post with X. "A legend joins the Greenback dynasty ready to make history. We proudly welcome @xzibit to Greenback Records – the new chapter starts here."

It's been 12 years since Xzibit dropped his last solo album Napalm. Since then, the Los Angeles-based artist has released music with his group Serial Killers, which comprises of himself, B-Real of Cypress Hill, and Demrick. Their previous album as a group Serial Killers: Summer of Sam dropped back in 2020. In recent years, Xzibit has kept his pen sharp by knocking out a few collaborations with the Outlawz, Glasses Malone and J. Stone. Now he's ready to get back to his solo career with his new venture.

Look out for Xzibit's new single dropping October 11.
