Rick Ross continues to fuel the conflict between him and Drake with his new music video.
On Tuesday, April 23, Rozay released the official music video for "Champagne Moments." Directed by Shula The Don, Ross utilizes the visuals to emphasize his bars about "white boy" Drake while wearing a green-and-black plaid shirt that has "Hidden Hills" on the back. Hidden Hills is the location of Drizzy's former "YOLO Estate," which he sold off in 2022. Rozay also pokes fun at Drake's alleged cosmetic surgery by including the hashtag #BBLDrizzy at the end of the video.
Ross is the first MC involved with the ongoing civil war in Hip-Hop to drop a video for his diss track. It's been a month since Future and Metro Boomin released their joint album WE DON'T TRUST YOU featuring their hit song "Like That" featuring Kendrick Lamar, who dissed Drake and J. Cole on the record. Drake and Cole have released their own respective responses including "7 Minute Drill," which Cole apologized for and took down, plus Drizzy's "Push Ups" and "Taylor Made Freestyle." While all of their diss tracks made headlines everywhere, only Ross has released a video for his response.
"Champagne Moments" also serves as Ross' first music video of 2024. He previously dropped visuals for songs like "Lyrical Eazy" and "SHAQ & KOBE" off Too Good To Be True with Meek Mill. Watch the entire music video below.
