Today the Colts announced they're planning to honor Peyton Manning this upcoming season and retire his number. Peyton finished his career with the Broncos but as you know he will always be a Colts player to us here in Indy. Sunday October 8th the Colts will retire his jersey during the game against the 49ers. The day before the game a statue of Manning will be unveiled outside of the Lucas Oil Stadium in a ceremony.
The team will also induct Manning into it's Ring of Honor. Talk about going out with a BANG!
This should bring tears of joy to Peyton, right?!
