Snoop Dogg Denies Physically Threatening Gayle King

We were all pretty shocked at Gayle King's interview with Lisa Leslie after bringing up Kobe Bryant's legacy in a controversial way. People showed rage in their own ways, but it was Snoop Dogg's that got the most attention.

Snoop went to social media to air out how he felt in the most unfiltered way possible. It wasn't him calling her a "funky dog head b**** " that rattled feathers, however. After describing her comments as "out of pocket" for attacking her own people and yet to approach Harvey Weinstein's scandals, his comment of "respect the family before we come get you" was taken as a threaten rather than a proclamation. Well, at least to Team Gayle members. One specific person in the party is Oprah Winfrey, who's been accused of also only going after African- American men facing the #MeToo movement.

Winfrey's appearance on TODAY's Hoda & Jenna turned emotional for the mogul/best friend who spoke on Gayle's current well-being since allegedly receiving threats since Snoop's rant.

Since then, Uncle Snoop hasn't back down from his stance, but attempted to ease the tension by clearing up the fact that his "come get you" statement had nothing to do with physical violence. The rap legend said what he said and doesn't want anything to be misconstrued and taken to more serious level.

"I spoke for the people. I felt like Gayle was very disrespectful towards Kobe Bryant and his family. Now with that being said, what do I look like wanting some harm to come to a 70-year-old woman? I was raised way better than that."

Well, we don't doubt that his mama raised him well. But, Snoop, you know better than to tell a woman's a age! And she' only 65, by the way.
