Legacy Fest returns to the historic Madam Walker Legacy Center for a three-day celebration, June 20–22, 2025—honoring Black excellence through music, culture, community, and legacy, and headlined by a special performance from the legendary Isley Brothers.
The annual summer event offers a weekend of entertainment, education, and enrichment on Indiana Avenue. From iconic performances to meaningful dialogue, Legacy Fest supports the mission of the Madam Walker Legacy Center. Proceeds directly fund cultural and educational programs that make the Center a vital community institution.

DAY 1: Legacy Fest Benefit Concert

Kick off the weekend with the fourth annual Legacy Fest Benefit Concert, headlined by the legendary Isley Brothers. This signature fundraiser supports the Center’s mission-driven work in entrepreneurship, education, and arts & culture. Get tickets here.

DAY 2: Legacy Fest Block Party, presented by IU Indianapolis

Celebrate summer and Black Music Month at the free outdoor Legacy Fest Block Party—a vibrant community celebration along the historic Indiana Avenue corridor. Enjoy an exciting lineup of live music, DJ sets, food trucks, local vendors, and family-friendly activities.
Highlights include the Art & Soul Stage, Vendor Village, Food Trucks, Fun Zone, Health Zone, Education Zone, Grown Folk’s Zone, featured exhibitors, and more. Tickets available here.
DAY 3: Legacy Reception & Book Chat: An Afternoon with A’Lelia Bundles
Sunday, June 22, 2025 | 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Close out the weekend with an inspiring afternoon featuring A’Lelia Bundles—award-winning author and great-great-granddaughter of Madam C.J. Walker. This intimate gathering includes a fireside chat, book signing, and reception honoring the enduring legacy of Madam Walker. Tickets available here.
