Chance The Rapper is once again proving that he’s a stand-up dude. The Chicago emcee is donating 30,000 backpacks to Chicago area students. The rapper and his youth empowerment brand SocialWorks is partnering with STATE Bags, “a one-for-one bag brand that delivers a backpack to an American child in need for every bag sold.”
Chance will personally hand out backpacks this Saturday, August 12 with STATE co-founders Scot and Jacq Tatelman to Chicago area students to make sure they’re ready for the first date of school.
